Shanghai Electric Group entered into a "Memorandum of Understanding on Co-founding Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Investment Fund" with SIASUN and COCOSPACE at the Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Parks Promotion Conference held on June 16.

Sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Lingang New Area Management Committee, and Shanghai Electric, the fund will be operated by Shanghai Electric, SIASUN and COCOSPACE. Under the guidance of both municipal and district governments, the fund will include a professional team and pool social capital to boost intelligent manufacturing. Eying the development of intelligent manufacturing, the fund will support growth enterprises and key intelligent manufacturing projects within the new area. At the same time, it will explore a new and sophisticated model of industry-finance integration -- "attracting social capital with investment from industry leaders and government fund".
