On February 14, medical supplies purchased through the group's overseas project team were delivered to five hospitals in Shanghai—Shanghai Fifth People's Hospital, Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, Huashan Hospital, the International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital, and Ruijin Hospital.

The donated protective suits, goggles, and masks were purchased from Dubai and Pakistan. Since the COVID-19 outbreak in China, many pharmacies and supermarkets in Dubai have been regularly stripped bare of protective articles which have seen some degree of price rise. By reaching out to medical suppliers in surrounding countries and regions in a variety of ways, the Dubai Project Team has assembled 2,000 N95 masks, 1,000 protective suits, 1,000 pairs of goggles, and lots of medical gloves and standard surgical masks by February 8.

Yet under a local embargo the supplies were restricted from export as strategic reserve resources. The project team tried every possible way and finally found a legitimate fast channel through which the supplies were airlifted to the capital Beijing on February 11 and then to Shanghai on the night of February 13.

The team at the Integrated Coal Power Project in Thar, Pakistan has also been closely watching the outbreak development back in China. Though Pakistan also faced strain on medical supplies, the project team has gone all out in quickly purchasing qualified masks and shipping them back to Shanghai.
