On June 10 (local time), the CSP tower was crowned with a collector, a key milestone for the Dubai 950 MW CSP+PV solar complex undertaken by Shanghai Electric.

After the 40-meter collector was installed, the 222-meter central tower measures around 262 meters, becoming the world's highest thermal tower. With valuable experience accumulated in the project, Shanghai Electric has established itself as a world leader in this respect.

The historic moment was witnessed by Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and executives from the Second Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, and China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Power Construction Co., Ltd.
