The European Innovation Center under Shanghai Electric Wind Power (SEWP) has recently celebrated its first anniversary of operation.

As a stronghold of Shanghai Electric to spread our wind power presence in Europe, the European Innovation Center has since March 2019 undertaken an array of projects to facilitate international integration and exchanges. A cohesive R&D team comprising 14 employees, including those from all walks of society in Denmark, has been formed to fulfill goals developed at its inception.

Over the past year, the center has met its targets ahead of schedule, and brought under its umbrella 10 senior Danish technicians. With established R&D capability in blade, load, control, and farm optimization, the center has independently declared three key projects and applied for five invention patents. Dozens of reports concerning intellectual property rights and personnel management have been published.

Next, the center will follow the group's guidelines in wind power, and deal with urgent demand in technical development and support. At the same time, it will make full use of top talents and superior resources in Europe to get technically prepared for new business, thus boosting our core technological competitiveness in wind power products.
