The first Road Show (Jiangsu) on China's Participation in Expo 2020 Dubai was held in Yangzhou on January 17. Shanghai Electric has announced to join the Expo 2020 Dubai as the official partner of the China Pavilion. It is the fourth time for Shanghai Electric to join the World Expo, following its appearance at the Expo 2017 Astana.

With a rapid global presence expansion, Shanghai Electric has a range of mega-projects in the Belt and Road region, including the 950MW CSP+PV Project in Dubai. The company has attracted widespread attention at home and abroad. The partnership will allow Shanghai Electric to consolidate and expand our presence in the Middle East and surrounding markets, and boost our brand image in the global market by tapping into the emerging energy markets.

Expo 2020 is scheduled to open on October 20, 2020 in UAE, on the theme 'Connecting Minds, Creating the Future'. Shanghai Electric will participate in the event on behalf of the Chinese energy enterprises, and showcase to the world our overall strength in new energy sources and international energy cooperation. An "Enterprise Day" event is scheduled for exchanges and cooperation with UAE and other countries. On this stage we will show to the world both the charm and strength of Chinese enterprises and brands.
