Recently, Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization released the list of units and individuals winning the 2022 Shanghai Product Quality Major Breakthrough Award. After expert review, 60 projects won the award. Specifically, the First Hualong I 1300MW Water Hydrogen Cooled Nuclear Power Generator of Shanghai Generator Plant, Shanghai Electric Power Generation Equipment Co., Ltd won the Second Prize. 6MW Offshore Medium and Low Speed Wind Turbine Generator of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd., Garbage Steam Turbine Efficiency and Reliability Improvement of Shanghai Steam Turbine Co, Ltd., and Million-level Efficient Ultra-supercritical CT Boiler of Shanghai Boiler Works Co., Ltd. won the Third Prize. Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd. won the Outstanding Organizer Award for the 2022 Shanghai Product Quality Major Breakthrough Award. In all, 212 projects applied for the award, including those via business application and district and industry recommendation. Through quality innovation and improvement, these projects contributed 5.744 billion yuan to the business profits, reduced power consumption cost by 846 million yuan, and saved and gained 5.446 yuan in foreign exchange.
