On January 24, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC released the “2021 Industrial Internet APP Excellent Solutions”, which included 8 projects from Shanghai. SEDT’s “New Energy Intelligent Management APP based on Shanghai Electric’s SEunicloud industrial Internet platform” and Shanghai Boiler Works’ “Intelligent Operation & Optimization APP for Power Station Boilers” are on the list.

Aiming at the emerging new energy industry in China, SEDT’s APP elaborately creates a multi-dimensional and multi-level overall solution covering stations and regions. It features remote centralized monitoring, centralized power prediction, coordinated control, video monitoring, intelligent production management, intelligent health management, and intelligent statistics and analysis, aiming to establish a digital intelligent operation center and centralized control platform for customers. For example, to realize centralized monitoring, comprehensive data analysis and unified operation and maintenance management of new energy power stations in a region, the New Energy Intelligent Management APP based on industrial Internet technology helps PV power stations achieve lean operation and maintenance and improve their efficiency, considering the large number and scattered sites of equipment in new energy power stations.

The “Intelligent Operation & Optimization APP for Power Station Boilers” is designed for boiler health management, energy efficiency analysis and self-optimizing adjustment, which not only meets the different needs of boiler-type special industrial equipment in power stations, but also provides two sets of solutions, namely, Shanghai Electric cloud deployment and local deployment for enterprises. The cloud deployment relies on Shanghai Electric’s SEunicloud Platform to create a sub-module for intelligent operation and optimization of boilers, and to integrate equipment information and equipment operation data into the platform. Targeting intelligent production supervision in enterprises, local deployment, based on collected parameters from intelligent devices, uses digital means such as big data, artificial intelligence and cloud computing for intelligent early warning, fault diagnosis, lifespan analysis, performance and efficiency optimization, and self-optimizing control of boilers through the analysis and real-time monitoring of boiler operation status.

It is reported that the excellent solution selection this time aims to further implement the State Council’s Guidelines on Deepening the Integrated Development of Internet and Advanced Manufacturing for Industrial Internet, strengthen the summary of typical practices and promotion of the best cases, and advance the domestic ecology for industrial Internet APPs to a higher level. A total of 132 excellent solutions were selected nationwide.
