Not long ago, Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group won the bid of Liansheng Paper (Longhai) Co., Ltd.’s new project - two units (CC200 and CB80) of cogeneration steam turbine generator. The project refreshes two records: one is the value of a single contract on industrial turbines for Shanghai Electric Power Generation Equipment Co., Ltd. Turbine Plant, an affiliate of Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group, and the other is the cogeneration unit capacity of Chinese paper makers.

To win the contract, the Turbine Plant formed a team headed by the sales unit and supported by the technology unit, and devoted some 3 months in technological and commercial negotiations. The manager of the plant made a decisive visit to Liansheng Paper, and the two sides finally reached an agreement with concerted efforts.

Liansheng paper is reported to be a leading private paper maker in Fujian Province, whose main businesses are sustainable paper making and cogeneration with recycled waste paper as the major raw material. The new forestry-pulp-paper integrated project with an annual capacity of 3.9 million tons is located in Chihu Industrial Park at Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian. With a total investment of 19.188 billion yuan and an area of 305.79 hectares, the project takes the lead in regard of scale, equipment capacity and quality in the industry.
