China Resources Power (Caofeidian) Co., Ltd. has recently completed a 168-hour test run for its No.4 generation unit. This means that two 1000 MW coal-fired units in Phase II saw a smooth start-up at the first attempt. The project is the first of its kind in Hebei. It has China's first 1000 MW generation unit with five cylinders and six exhausts, and its steam turbines and generating equipment are provided by Shanghai Electric.
