Based on AP1000 technology and technical accumulation of AP1000 RVI manufacturing technology, CAP1400 (Guohe No.1) project RVI is continued and extended furtherly. By comparison with AP1000, CAP1400 RVI makes large change in terms of design structure and dimension parameters, which significantly increases the manufacturing difficulty of parts.
During manufacturing, we independently developed laser welding technology for guide tube guide shroud and half cover, independently developed laser welding technology for support columns. And based on pure laser welding of AP1000 core shroud, upgrade and innovate core shroud laser welding with filler wire/composite welding process; based on welding practice of manual TIG, manual shielded metal arc welding, we design welding process program by intelligent robot for phased welding of baffle I assembly, baffle II assembly of core shroud; we independently designed and developed one set of manufacturing process of flow equalizing plates and several tools, which can effectively reduce the machining deformation and guarantee the machining precision.
