Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd. takes building a scientific innovation sharing platform as one of its priorities in its sci-tech segment. By integrating internal and external resources of Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Equipment Co., Ltd. and East China University of Science and Technology, its testing technology and service platform for performance of high-pressure hydrogen storage facility and material was awarded as the Project for Developing the Engineering Technology Research Center and Professional Technology Service Center under the framework of “2020 Shanghai Action Plan for Technological Innovation” by Shanghai Science and Technology Committee.

The Project for Developing the Engineering Technology Research Center and Professional Technology Service Center aims to boost the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy and accelerate the building of a world-leading sci-tech innovation center. By entering the action plan, Shanghai Electric demonstrates its competitiveness in regard of building the nuclear technological innovation sharing platform, which embarks a new journey for nuclear power to enhance its presence in the hydrogen market, and supports Shanghai Electric in exploring the hydrogen industry.

Since its establishment in 2019, Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd. has launched 4 projects supported by government organs like Shanghai Science and Technology Committee and Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration.
