The first inter-regional sharing municipal solid waste power plant. As a major project decided by Nantong Municipal Government, the technical innovation and expansion project of Nantong Power Plant is an important supporting construction project for municipal environmental protection specially approved by Rugao People's Government. Shanghai Electric Environmental Protection Thermal Power (Nantong) Co., Ltd. held the commencement ceremony in January 2019, formally starting the systematic upgrading and reconstruction work. The Power Plant is constructed according to the garden-type industrial benchmarking engineering standard. The total area of the whole plant is 147 mu, of which 27.2 mu is newly added land.

1) Import of the mechanical grate boiler process from Hitachi, which can greatly reduce the amount of fly ash compared with the circulating fluidized bed incinerator;

2) Use of the medium-temperature secondary high pressure parameters for the main steam of waste heat boiler (450°C, 6.4MPa) to improve the thermal efficiency of waste power plant;

3) The flue gas cleaning system adopts the process of "SNCR furnace denitration + semi-dry deacidification + dry spraying + activated carbon adsorption + bag dust collecting + GGH + SGH + medium-temperature SCR denitration", so that the emission of flue gas meets the EU standards, and the CEMS online monitoring system is set.
