The project is a 181km 500kV double-circuit four-bundle transmission line funded by Malaysia's Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB). The total contract amount of the project is RM307.52 million, which is about US$95 million. The project duration is 22 months. Being the first 500kV transmission line project in Sarawak, it is also the highest voltage transmission line project in Southeast Asia. Moreover, it is the core project of the Sawarak Renewable Energy Corridor.
