Intelligent Rail Transportation System
Provide new-type intelligent public transportation automation solutions such as intelligent rail, etc.Employ modern technical means such as information, communication, control, etc. to realize automatic guidance, accurate control and intelligent organization of vehicles to give full play to the characteristics of low cost and high efficiency.IERT (intelligent rail transportation system) is a form of intelligent transportation and an intelligent transportation system integrating “road + vehicle (fleet) + people + station + information”, and can improve the transportation efficiency of limited space greatly.In terms of vehicle, it’s embodied in vehicle networking, aided driving, accurate driving till driverless driving, which has improved the driving safety greatly.

    The new technology can improve China’s technical level in ITS vehicle control and public transportation system substantially, and also drive an industry chain.

At present, it has established port-surrounding test line with USA T.T.T Company and Shanghai Urban Transportation Design Institute Co., Ltd. The base covers an area of about 1km2 and consists of an overhaul station, a master platform, 5 auxiliary platforms and 2 vehicles.

R&D of vehicle control technology and automation intelligent rail transportation system of PATH project of University of California, Berkeley Campus is in world leading position. Shanghai Electric has cooperated with PATH’s technical team to industrialize the world leading technology in China and combine it with concrete national conditions of China to design the automation intelligent rail transportation system adaptive to Chinese cities.
