Implementation results Shanghai Electric Generator carried out the pilot project of the intelligent rotor copper bar production line through the construction of the smart factory. By integrating the manufacturing execution system (MES) with the smart production line, it can rapidly give production orders and feedback on processing status and labor-hour information, as well as monitor how the production line operates in a real-time manner. By integrating sensors, smart devices and production lines, it can execute transparent management for workshops, support horizontal integration and end-to-end value chain integration. Its remote electricity generator monitoring and diagnosis platform can collect and send back running status data in real-time. With the help of platform knowledge model diagnosis, it can emulate the electricity generator as a 3D model. Based on oil-water digital twin systems, electrical systems and the surrounding environment, it can perform unmanned factory monitoring. Thanks to its successful digital transformation, Shanghai Electric Generator has grown into an exemplary large discrete manufacturer of steam turbine generators in China, while also becoming one of the first 20 smart factories recognized by Shanghai.
