As the year draws to an end, Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group scored a hat-trick to win main engine contracts for Guoxin Sheyang Port 2×1000MW Double Reheat Project, Guangdong Energy Group Dabu Phase II 2×1000MW Double Reheat Turbine Generator Project, and China Resources Xijiang 2x660MW Double Reheat Project.

In 2020, the group has been awarded with main engine contracts for Huaneng Shidongkou 2×660MW Project and China Resources Fuyang 2×660MW Project, and turbine generator set contract for Huainan Mining Panji 2×660MW Project. It has increased its market share to 100% of the double reheat turbine generator market and 64% of the boiler market. Thanks to these contracts, Shanghai Electric continues to extend its lead in the most advanced, efficient segment of the thermal power industry.
